Abstract

The article presents the study of the interrelation between collective traumas and group identity in large social groups. The author analyzes the regular patterns in collective traumas formation and transgenerational transmission of traumatic experience. Various traumatizing factors and forms of exit from the collective traumas, developed by social practice, are considered. A special emphasis is put on interrelations among after-effects of collective traumas, society integrity and identity of large social groups.
