Abstract
The potential of the use of projective methods for studying the picture of the world of personality and the possibilities of their attraction for forming a political picture of the youth world are revealed. The essence of the projective method and the mechanism of action of the projection is explained, the existing classifications of projective techniques are analyzed. The advantages and limitations of the use of projective methods for research and formation of the political picture of the world of youth are singled out. The methodical principles of application of projective techniques are substantiated, the schemes of analysis of the received data are offered. The effectiveness of using projective methods for studying the unconscious, emotional aspect of the person's attitude towards the state, power and politics is shown, and the need to expand the arsenal of research tools suitable for studying the system of attitudes of young people to the world of politics (to power and relations of power, to itself as a politic’s subject, the state, its elements and own place in it). For practical psychologists and social workers, social and political psychologists, teachers, graduate students and students, as well as specialists interested in the possibilities of using projective methods in political and psychological research.
