Abstract

The article examines the influence of electronic social networks on adolescents. It is noted that this is not only services for leisure time and entertainment, but also a very effective means for organizing various types of educational and educational work in general education and higher educational institutions. The mechanism of the emergence of dependence on social networks is revealed and methods of combating this kind of dependence are singled out. Examples of applications that will help overcome dependence on social networks and the results of research on the use of adolescents by social networks are given. It is noted that social networks are not harmful to health and the human psyche should regulate the time spent on the network. Electronic social networks are not only a problem for modern society, but also an infinite field for pedagogical, psychological and medical research.
