Abstract

In the context of topical studies in the history of education, the article highlights the achievements of the department of the history of pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the last decades of the 21st century, connected with the reconstruction of the evolution of one of the main innovative engines of the modem pedagogical process in the secondary school — a differentiated approach to learning and the multiplicity of its manifestations. The leading methodological foundations of the scientific researches, including the trends of intellectual history, are reflected.
