Abstract

The article discusses the sociocultural factors of mental health. Types of attitude to a child typical for different historical epochs and their influence on mental characteristics of adults were considered. The conditions of formation of mentally healthy person, resistant to pathogenicity of unfavorable socio-cultural situation, were analyzed.
