Abstract

In the collective monograph written by the scientists of the Laboratory of Methodology and Theory of Psychology Institute of Psychology named after G.S. Kostyuk NAPS, the concept of the authenticity of experts in socio-occupational professions is analyzed. Based on the achievements of various directions of psychological science and related disciplines. It is specially noted the theoretical principles of studying the problem of personality’s authenticity, through the empirical study the peculiarities of the authenticity of specialists of various socio-occupational professions are determined. It is spoken in detailthe aspects of the formation of authenticity in contemporary conditions. The obtained results of the research can be used not only at different stages of personal professional growth, but also in general promote the more effective use of the concept of authenticity in scientific research and various areas of social practice. The book is of great help topsychologists-scientists, psychologists-practitioners, educators, social workers, students of higher educational institutions, all representatives of professions such as "man-man", as well as to anyone interested in the problem of professional development of the individual.
