Abstract
The article proves the expediency of using the Lisp language for the methodological support of the "Artificial Intelligence" section of the school course of informatics. The pedagogical experiment on introduction of the elective course "Construction of AS in the Lisp Language Environment" is described, the possibility of using Lisp in learning the principles of programming is justified.
