Abstract

The article deals with the feasibility of implementing innovative technologies in vocational and artistic education to develop students’ professional competence, to intensify their training and to bring up professional skills necessary for them, as well as the need to combine the achievements of the national methods with foreign science and practice in modernization of vocational schools of arts and to update the content and technology of training under the new paradigm of education. The specific guidelines that provide a predictable result of professional and artistic training should be developed. The conceptual idea of upgrading vocational and artistic education is that improving the quality of professional training of skilled workers of artistic profile is possible only through creating the innovative educational environment where a student is able to gain the competence necessary for his or her artistic and aesthetic, professional and personal development.
