Abstract

The article substantiates the need for a practical approach to determining the content of teaching Ukrainian as the state language and other languages ​​as subjects. Such an approach with a focus on formation of communicative competence should be incorporated in the new version of the state standard of language education in Ukrainian and other languages ​​for primary and high school teaching of national languages. It is proposed to review and implement the principle of continuity draft national standard for primary school.
