Abstract

On the basis of analysis of culturological, psychological and pedagogical literature essence of spirituality is determined as to the base pedagogical category. In this connection the process of education is considered as a process of transmission of spiritual values of the people from a generation to the generation. As maintenance of this process depends on social-cultural and ethnic-cultural environments which create the spiritual-axiological context of an educate activity, an environment becomes precondition of forming of axiological context of education, which, in same queue, maintenance of spirituality of personality, educated in this environment stipulates.
