Abstract
The elective courses curriculum is aimed for providing the variable content component of foreign language teaching of high school students in profile school. It points to the basic methodological approaches to the content of elective courses selection and design, define their subject and describes technology of mastering them. It identifies the approximate level of students' knowledge. The program is written for teachers of foreign languages, methodologists, authors of textbooks and manuals for students of language faculties of higher educational establishments.
