Abstract
In the article, pubic opinion is considered as a display of societal discourse. Discourse is understood as constantly renewed trinity of implicate mental model of subjects, their living in which it appears, and its articulation in the process of communication with other subjects. Societal discourse reveals in all areas of social organization: discrete individual subjects, systemic group subjects, and socium as a whole. Plurality of the forms of public opinion representation and functioning according to the principle of circular causality makes for a scholar his task more complex.
