Abstract
The article describes the researchworkdone by V. O. Sykhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine concerning keeping and popularizing of library stock. The analysis of some publications of the Ukrainian ABC-books published in the19th–at the beginning of the 20th centuries is done.
