Abstract

These information and analytical materials present the scholarly contributions of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in the field of psychological support for vocational education from 2009 to 2026. The focus is on the psychological foundations of learners’ career self-determination and development; the professional agency and inclusive competence of teaching staff; the psychological implications of the spread of generative artificial intelligence in the educational environment; and the activities of the Centre for Psychological Support for Teaching Staff in Vocational Education Institutions during wartime. Six systemic challenges and promising directions for psychological support for the development of vocational education are outlined, and proposals are formulated for the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and vocational education institutions. These materials have been prepared for the General Meeting of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, entitled “Psychology in Ukraine: Current State, Challenges, and Prospects for Development.”
