Abstract
The article provides a theoretical analysis of professional stress resistance and emotional burnout syndrome among higher education teachers amid modern crisis challenges (pandemic restrictions, full-scale war, distance learning, and chronic uncertainty). Stress resistance is defined as an integral, dynamic property of the psyche that enables a specialist to effectively carry out professional activities and maintain mental health under destructive conditions. The biological and personal levels of stress resistance mechanisms are highlighted, and the role of self-regulation, coping strategies (problem- and emotion-oriented), and psychological protection mechanisms is analyzed. The need to develop systemic measures for the prevention and restoration of teachers' resources is emphasized.
