Abstract

The presentation examines the informational potential of the bibliography of Oleksandr Tysovskyi’s (1886–1968) published works, compiled by Leonid Bachynskyi in 1967, as a source for reconstructing the educator’s intellectual and educational activities in emigration. It outlines the structure and specific features of the bibliography, which covers 109 entries published between 1909 and 1966, and analyzes the thematic and genre structure of Tysovskyi’s publications during the emigration period, the dynamics of his publishing activity, and the geographical distribution of his works within the Ukrainian diaspora. Particular attention is paid to scouting education, the methodology and organization of Plast, as well as the transformation of the author’s writing from scholarly and methodological works to letters, essays, and journalistic appeals addressed to young people and educators. The presentation substantiates the significance of the bibliography for bringing O. Tysovskyi’s intellectual legacy back into scholarly circulation and advancing research into the history of Ukrainian pedagogy in emigration.
