Abstract

The paper reviews international instruments for assessing critical thinking among students in specialized upper secondary education. It examines standardized tests, scoring rubrics and student feedback instruments used to assess cognitive skills, critical thinking dispositions, the quality of reasoning and aspects of the learning environment. The analysis highlights the value of a multimethod approach and the need for contextual adaptation and psychometric validation before these instruments are used in Ukraine.
