Abstract

The article examines historical memory, which is considered as a multidimensional socio-cultural phenomenon that functions in the plane of the spiritual culture of society. It is determined that in the student environment, historical memory is an important factor in the formation of worldview orientations, civic responsibility and national self-awareness. It is emphasized that in the pedagogical aspect, historical memory is integrated into the educational process as a component of the formation of the spiritual culture of the individual. Historical memory is highlighted, which in the higher education system appears not only as an object of scientific research, but as an important resource for the spiritual development of student youth, which ensures the formation of national identity and value unity of society.
