Abstract

This practical guide addresses practical issues related to the organization of performance evaluations for teaching staff at general secondary education institutions. Based on an analysis of international experience and the results of specially organized experimental studies, the guide presents methods, tools, and procedures designed to assist local education authorities, institution founders, the teaching community, and school staff in establishing an effective system for evaluating the professional performance of teaching staff. The guide is designed to improve the quality of training for teaching staff at general secondary education institutions and education management bodies on issues related to pedagogical assessment, testing, and the monitoring the quality of education. It can be used in the training of specialists in the field of educational assessment, in professional development programs for teaching staff, and for organizing pedagogical assessments in general secondary education institutions.
