Abstract

The scientific and educational community of Ukraine, having been in the active phase of a full-scale war with the Russian Federation for the fifth year, is responding promptly to existential challenges, supporting modern educational and social trends, constantly forming and developing stable value orientations among higher education students. Modern scientific research identifies three global groups of challenges for 21st century pedagogy: technological changes (rapid digitalization and integration of artificial intelligence); psycho-emotional stress (a deep mental health crisis); competence and educational losses caused by crisis conditions. At the same time, for Ukraine, these global trends are deepened by the specific challenges of martial law. The challenges are directly projected onto the specifics of training future military psychologists, which is conditionally carried out for two categories of applicants: individuals with certain life and combat experience who consciously choose this profession, and yesterday's graduates of secondary education institutions.
