Abstract
This article provides a theoretical justification for a 21st-century psychology textbook as a tool for fostering resilience and supporting professional training under martial law. The study characterizes the content wartime-era psychology textbooks using an interdisciplinary synthesis that integrates military psychology and military pedagogy, alongside criteria-based and content analysis. The transformational features of wartime textbooks are emphasized, particularly the relevance of sections on resilience and the synergy between psychological and pedagogical tools, which make the modern textbook a comprehensive ecosystem for training professionally resilient specialists. This study examines the existential-methodological and subject-centered approaches to teaching resilience in American and Ukrainian textbooks. The findings demonstrate that the new generation of professional literature performs an important therapeutic function in destigmatizing trauma; the military-pedagogical aspect of the content ensures that theoretical knowledge about resilience is translated into practical action. It is concluded that, under martial law, a 21st-century psychology textbook transforms into a comprehensive security-oriented tool. Its purpose is not only to impart professional knowledge but also to preserve the learner's mental health, provide methodological support to the instructor, and offer ready-made algorithms for future practical work in crisis conditions.
