Abstract

It is important to note possible trends in the change of the paradoxical adaptation conflict in the conditions of the continuation of the war of attrition and post-war recovery. According to previous studies, the results obtained by colleagues, including us, in a certain part of teachers and students, a tendency for spontaneous recovery of their general mental health can be distinguished, a certain number can also acquire spontaneous post-traumatic personal growth due to mastering the destructive factors of the war and its consequences. Also, in some of the studied people, the development of psychosomatic disorders is possible while maintaining satisfactory social functioning and, at the very end, in another part of them, unfortunately, various kinds of post-traumatic disorders may develop.
