Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of student autonomy in the context of personalized learning in modern Ukrainian pedagogical discourse. The essence of the concepts of "personalized learning" is determined, which is considered as a model of organizing the educational process, which involves adapting the content, methods and pace of learning to the individual characteristics of the learner. Unlike the traditional model, the focus of personalized learning is not the transfer of knowledge, but the development of the student's personality and his active position in the educational process. "student autonomy", which allows the learner to take responsibility for his own learning to meet his own needs and goals, which leads to the readiness and ability to act independently or in cooperation with others as a socially adapted person. The relationship between the personalization of the educational process and the development of student subjectivity is substantiated. The peculiarities of the interpretation of autonomy in the context of the digitalization of education, the implementation of the concept of the New Ukrainian School and the spread of blended learning are outlined. Modern Ukrainian scientific approaches to the organization of personalized learning and the development of independence of education seekers are analyzed. A number of pedagogical conditions necessary for the formation of student autonomy in the context of personalized learning are identified, in particular, the democratization of teacher-student relationships, the use of reflective practices, the development of learning strategies, the variability of the educational environment, the organization of project and group activities.
