Abstract

The article substantiates the methodology for implementing vocational trials as a primary career guidance tool for orienting young learners toward vocational occupations. It delineates the structural framework of the vocational trial – incorporating technological, situational, and functional components – and defines an implementation algorithm that encompasses diagnostics, practical modelling, and reflection. Furthermore, the paper provides specific examples of practice-oriented tasks tailored to contemporary industrial sectors. Additionally, particular emphasis is placed on the learning outcome assessment system aligned with New Ukrainian School (NUS) criteria for the 2024–2025 academic year, alongside instruments for psycho-pedagogical support in professional self-determination.
