Abstract
The article analyzes the moral competence of students as a result of military-patriotic education. The article theoretically substantiates the essence, structure, and content of the moral competence of education seekers as an integrative result of military-patriotic education, as well as determines its structure and ways of formation in the modern educational environment. An analysis of recent research and publications shows that the problem of forming the moral competence of students in the context of military-patriotic education is considered in domestic science in several interrelated areas: theoretical and methodological principles of the formation of moral and spiritual-moral competence, moral and psychological support and the formation of moral qualities of the individual in the conditions of the security and defense sector, military-patriotic education as an integral pedagogical system, the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies into the process of forming moral competence in the conditions of military-patriotic education. It is indicated that the term "moral competence of education seekers" includes the willingness, ability and internal need to act in accordance with universal and professional ethical norms, the formation of moral qualities, value orientations, the habit of ethical behavior and the ability to make the right moral choice in various life situations. The concept of "moral competence of education seekers - cadets" is interpreted as an integral quality of the personality with a combination of moral knowledge, emotional intelligence, stable values and the ability to make ethical decisions in extreme conditions, which is the basis of professional culture, provides a high level of moral stability, motivation for service and the ability to manage subordinates on the basis of moral and ethical imperatives and is aimed at the professional self-realization of the future officer. The structure of the moral competence of education seekers, including education seekers - cadets, is developed, and the ways of its formation in institutions of general secondary and higher education are identified. It is concluded that the theoretical substantiation of the essence, structure and content of the moral competence of education seekers made it possible to conclude that the formation of the specified competence of education seekers is the key to the successful performance of professional tasks, as well as the formation of high moral self-awareness, which distinguishes a competent specialist capable of highly moral behavior.
