Abstract

The paper characterizes the principles of designing chemistry curriculum content for the New Ukrainian School. These principles are grounded in the alignment of the logic of chemical science, psychological and pedagogical principles of learning, and the goals of general secondary education. The study substantiates the principles of scientific and methodological validity, cognitive accessibility, integration of content around key chemical concepts and patterns, activity-based learning, contextuality, personal support, and reflection.
