Abstract

The article analyzes the results of an online survey of history teachers regarding the implementation of the research-based approach in Ukrainian general secondary education. The study identifies the characteristics of organizing students' research activities, the use of digital tools, and the main challenges hindering the systematic implementation of research-based learning. Based on the findings, the authors outline key directions for improving history teaching methodology, including curriculum enhancement, the development of methodological and digital resources, and professional development for teachers.
