Abstract

The following organizational and methodological conditions for the formation of subject-methodical competence of a future teacher in the educational environment of higher education institutions have been determined: integration of theoretical and practical training; logically determined sequence of studying educational components in the educational program of teacher training; inadmissibility of limiting such training to pedagogy and general didactics, mandatory mastering of the teaching methodology of the subject/integrated course; creation and maintenance in higher education institutions of a safe, modern and developing educational environment that stimulates the active cognitive activity of the future teacher, an environment favorable for the formation of individual educational trajectories of applicants for higher pedagogical education; professional (professional-pedagogical) orientation of each academic discipline, the use of active, interactive, information and communication technologies, problem-based learning methods as case methods, etc.; professional orientation of applicants for general secondary education to the profession of a teacher, as well as the selection of professionally motivated applicants for teacher training programs.
