Abstract

The scientific article provides a comprehensive theoretical and methodological substantiation and develops an innovative didactic technology aimed at the high-quality training of social protection personnel at the basic level (vocational junior bachelors) to provide integrated assistance to demobilized combatants. The relevance of the study is driven by the unprecedented challenges facing Ukrainian society as a result of the protracted full-scale war, which necessitates the immediate modernization of educational programs and the introduction of fundamentally new, practice-oriented approaches to training specialists in professional pre-higher education institutions (colleges). The article analyzes advanced global experience in the reintegration of individuals with combat experience into civilian life, particularly ecosystem approaches, peer-to-peer support practices, and concepts of continuous medical and social support. The specific needs of Ukrainian combatants during the material and legal assistance, rapid psychological stabilization, professional reorientation, and the restoration of family ties. The research details the essence of the specialist's competency profile through a multidimensional four-component structure, conceptually encompassing: the motivational-value component (deep empathy and cultural humility); the cognitive information component (knowledge of the regulatory framework and the nature of combat trauma); the operational-activity component (case management and deescalation techniques); and the personal-reflective component (prevention of compassion fatigue and development of resilience). Based on this structure, the author’s four-stage methodology was developed, the stages of which mirror the components of readiness: orientation-motivational, theoretical-cognitive, practical modeling, and activity-reflective. Particular attention is paid to the practical implementation of the methodology: specific examples of training sessions are provided for each stage (e.g., "Professional Readiness as an Active State," "Stress, PTSD," "Constructive Behavior in Conflicts"), accompanied by descriptions of role-playing games and relaxation methods. It is proven that the effectiveness of the proposed technology directly depends on a complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions: deep interdisciplinary integration, standardization of programs according to post-war recovery requirements, creation of an innovative environment based on Veteran Development Centers, and the involvement of combat experience holders in teaching. The implementation of this model in professional pre-higher education institutions will significantly improve the quality of social services in territorial communities and facilitate the barrier-free return of defenders to civilian life.
