Abstract
This article presents a theoretical overview and comparative analysis of trends in the transformation of professional training models for andragogues in the domestic and international educational spheres. The relevance of the study is driven by the digitization of education, the spread of lifelong learning, changes in the labor market, and the need to train specialists capable of working with adult learners in conditions of uncertainty. The article clarifies the relationship between the concepts of transformation, modernization, renewal, and adaptation in the context of professional training for andragogues. It identifies the factors driving transformational changes: the development of digital technologies, European integration processes, the competency-based approach, changes in the professional roles of andragogues, and crisis-related social circumstances. A classification of trends in the transformation of andragog training models has been carried out according to the levels of transformational change: technological-digital, structural-organizational, pedagogical-competency-based, professional-role-based, and context-adaptive. It is substantiated that contemporary models of andragog training are evolving in the directions of digitalization, hybridization, the introduction of flexible educational pathways and micro-qualifications, a reorientation toward learning outcomes, the expansion of professional roles, and the strengthening of the resilience dimension of adult education. A comparative analysis has shown that Ukrainian trends generally align with global and European approaches, yet take on specific characteristics under the influence of military challenges, internal migration, and the need for psychosocial support. It is concluded that the identified changes indicate a gradual transition from traditional models of professional training to flexible, competency-based, and open models of professional training for andragogues.
