Abstract

The article examines the experience of independent assessment of learning outcomes as a pivotal quality assurance tool for professional training and a mechanism to enhance private sector confidence in the Swiss Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. It discloses the outcomes of the Swiss projects EdUP and DECIDE currently operating within Ukraine. Furthermore, the study analyses the operational mechanisms of independent qualification centres, the specificities of developing competency-based assessment materials, and the role of digitalisation in ensuring the objectivity of learning outcomes.
