Abstract

The institutional and structural foundations of vocational colleges in the United Kingdom for the training of construction professionals were examined. The roles of key public institutions (Skills England and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)) and the architecture of education within the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) were analysed. Particular attention was given to dual-training mechanisms, including T Levels and apprenticeships, as well as to innovative teaching approaches such as project-based learning, Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies, and sustainable construction practices. The study also explored the instruments and mechanisms that facilitate systematic collaboration between colleges and employers in the assessment of learning outcomes.
