Abstract
This study examines stress resilience as a key psychological factor and an internal resource for the self-directed professional development of higher education faculty members under martial law. It identifies the primary sources of stress for academic and teaching staff during their professional self-development and substantiates the role of psycho-emotional resilience in maintaining their motivation and adaptive capacity. Emphasis is placed on the need to implement comprehensive programs for the development of teachers’ psycho-emotional resilience and mental health to ensure the stability of the educational process under conditions of uncertainty.
