Abstract
The issue of emotional competence among higher education faculty has become particularly relevant in the context of the unprovoked war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the shift to remote learning, and the increasing psychological strain on participants in the educational process. For the modern educator, it is not only professional knowledge that is important, but also the ability to recognize, manage, and constructively express emotions, which directly influences the quality of teaching and communication with professional counterparts (students, colleagues, etc.).
