Abstract

The current period of development of Ukrainian society is characterized by deep social transformations, accompanied by extremely acute sociogenic challenges and a prolonged state of war. Under such conditions, the professional activity of psychologists of various levels (civilian, practical, military) acquires special importance, but at the same time is associated with a critically high level of psycho-emotional stress, risks of professional burnout, emotional exhaustion and secondary traumatization. The specificity of professional activity involves constant interaction with various categories of the population who have suffered as a result of hostilities, which requires the specialist not only developed emotional maturity and personal competencies, but also an appropriate level of personal protection. Since the foundation of resilience, stress resistance and professional reliability is laid during studies in higher education institutions (HEIs), the formation of an effective system of psychological security of the future specialist should take place in parallel with his theoretical and practical training. It is important to emphasize that the psychological safety of an individual is not a purely internal construct of self-regulation, but directly depends on external factors - legal protection and the creation of a clear regulatory and legal context that would regulate the rights, obligations and limits of responsibility of a young specialist.
