Abstract

The monograph presents the socio-psychological concept of social cohesion. The author's vision of the construction and destruction, mechanisms and models of the formation of social cohesion is presented. A critical analysis of the psychological content is carried out and the levels of the architectonics of social cohesion are determined; a structural and procedural model of its psychological dimensions is proposed. The polarization processes in Ukrainian society and the risks of internal threats to national security caused by the war are revealed; the value and activity foundations of unity and the formation of cohesion through images of the future are articulated. The theoretical developments set out in the monograph can be applied in various branches of psychological theory and practice; it is addressed to a wide range of specialists whose professional activities are related to the issues of social cohesion.
