Abstract

This handbook presents a comprehensive academic analysis of the organisation of psychoeducation, using the example of support groups for older people aimed at restoring their psychological well-being. It highlights practical experience in implementing forms and methods of teaching older people in the field of psychology. This practical guide has been compiled in accordance with the syllabus for the course ‘Rehabilitation Communication’ within the ‘Rehabilitation Psychology’ degree programme for students pursuing a second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialisation C4 Psychology. The guide is intended for students, lecturers, practising psychologists and social workers, as well as managers in the fields of education, psychology and social work.
