Abstract
The essence and mechanisms of socio-psychological adaptation of the individual in the conditions of cross-border learning as a deterritorialized educational model are revealed. The author justifies the transition from institutional to network adaptation, due to the “atopic” nature of learning and the separation of the physical location of the applicant and the educational jurisdiction. It is proven that successful adaptation in the conditions of crossing national borders involves the formation of cognitive mobility, institutional flexibility and digital self-regulation of the individual. The strategic importance of cross-border education as a resilience mechanism for Ukrainian applicants is highlighted, ensuring the preservation of intellectual capital in the conditions of global turbulence and war.
