Abstract

The article identifies the strategic guidelines for the modernization of the quality assurance system for vocational education in Ukraine: compliance with legislative acts and regulatory documents in the field of vocational education and the national qualifications system; the application of the competency-based approach to the design of the content of professional standards and educational programs; cooperation with employers and the development of the dual form of vocational education and training; innovation, digitalization and sustainable development; international integration. These guidelines are aimed at ensuring a close relationship and mutual influence between the tools, procedures and measures of the external quality assurance system for vocational education and the improvement of the mechanisms of the internal quality assurance system within vocational education institutions.
