Abstract

This article analyzes the complex transformational processes within Ukraine’s vocational education and training (VET) system. Particular emphasis is placed on the national context, specifically the role of vocational education in ensuring the state’s economic resilience amidst full- scale aggression and subsequent post-war reconstruction. The study elucidates the social dimensions of this transformation, including the advancement of dual education models, the implementation of micro- credentials for the rapid retraining of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and veterans, and the adaptation of vocational training to gender-driven shifts in the labor market. It is concluded that the modernization of this sector is a critical factor for Ukraine’s integration into the European Education Area and for the creation of an open ecosystem for human capital development.
