Abstract
The study of the psychological features of the professional activity of pedagogical workers of training centers should begin with the definition of the main categories that reveal its content. The professional activity of pedagogical workers can be interpreted as a system of professionally expedient actions and operations aimed at achieving the set professional goals, in which the employee realizes his attitude towards the pedagogical profession, applicants for vocational education, prisoners, administration, colleagues and himself. For its successful implementation, certain competencies are required, formed in the process of professional training, primarily psychological. The professional activity of pedagogical workers is a conscious, professionally directed activity that includes the following blocks: motivational and value (motives, goals), predictive and design (forecasting and planning), executive and implementation (methods, means), evaluative and comparative (analysis of results and their reflection), cognitive, creative, informational and cognitive.
