Abstract

The theses present a technology for developing foreign language communicative competence in students of grades 7–9 through speech situations. Its didactic principles, content components, and stages of implementation in the educational process are described. The role of situational learning, competence-based tasks, and digital tools in developing foreign language communication skills is highlighted. Pedagogical conditions for effective implementation and its impact on students’ communicative competence, autonomy, and social activity are defined.
