Abstract

The article reveals what the politics of memory is and establishes that it is a factor in the transformation of the content of national-patriotic education in Ukrainian schools; it is proven that the politics of memory in Ukraine in 2005-2021 became one of the key factors in the transformation of the content of national-patriotic education in schools. It determines the ways of interpreting the historical past, forms state narratives and influences educational programs, and is also a key mechanism for the transformation of the content of national-patriotic education, determining its value orientations and strategic priorities.
