Abstract
The article investigates the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of ecologically oriented digital content aimed at shaping the environmental outlook of students. The study emphasizes the relevance of forming ecological consciousness and value orientations in the context of contemporary global environmental challenges and the digital transformation of education. As a result of the literature analysis, key concepts and approaches to ecological education were identified, including the concept of sustainable development, the theory of the ecological imperative, and the competence-based, activity-based, personality-oriented, constructivist, and axiological approaches. The structural components of students' environmental outlook are examined, encompassing cognitive, value-motivational, emotional-evaluative, and behavioral-activity aspects, as well as age-related and socio-psychological characteristics of their formation. The study highlights the significance of education and digital environments as factors in the development of environmental worldview and culture. The principles for developing digital content are substantiated, including scientific validity, accessibility, clarity, interactivity, multimodality, ecological appropriateness, value saturation, and practical orientation. Requirements for the structure, content, and linguistic-stylistic design of materials, as well as criteria for evaluating their quality from the perspective of shaping the environmental outlook, are also considered. Particular attention is given to the methodology for creating and implementing digital content, which involves a sequence of stages: analyzing learning needs and defining goals, designing content structure, developing materials, testing and piloting, integrating into the educational process, and assessing eJectiveness. The use of mobile applications, interactive platforms, multimedia resources, and project-research tasks is substantiated as a means to activate students' cognitive activity and develop their environmental competence. The results of the study indicate that digital content developed based on modern pedagogical theories and psycho-didactic principles facilitates eJective assimilation of ecological information, shapes value orientations, and stimulates students' behavioral engagement toward sustainable development.
