Abstract

The theses present commemorative practices as a mechanism for institutionalizing memory policy in higher education in Ukraine; it is shown that in modern Ukrainian society commemorative practices are one of the key mechanisms for institutionalizing memory policy, especially in the field of higher education. They ensure the transition from theoretical understanding of historical memory to its practical implementation in the social and educational space.
