Abstract

The monograph presents theoretical and methodological principles of forecasting the development of the social situation in Ukraine. The results of theoretical and empirical scientific research presented in the text reveal the features of forecasting the social situation in such aspects as socio-political, economic, civil, societal, as well as in the field of mental health. The initial axiomatics of the work was the view of individual as the primary source and agent of social changes, which determined the choice of psychological factors and mechanisms of human behavior as the scientific basis of social forecasting. The authors proposed original concepts, models and methods that make it possible to obtain scientific forecasts of the future of the social situation in Ukraine. The predictive capabilities of a number of scientific approaches are highlighted: psychological, identity, situational, holistic. Special attention is paid to the analysis and forecasting of the social situation in the state in conditions of war and post-war recovery. Although the research presented in the monograph primarily concerns Ukrainian society, some of its results can be applied in a broader context. Addressed to specialists in social forecasting, representatives of state authorities and management, students, postgraduates and scholars of the socio-humanitarian profile.
