Abstract

The work presents the results of an empirical study aimed at studying the peculiarities of marital conflicts in pairs, which are in extreme living conditions, in particular in the situation of military events. Cluster analysis was applied to highlight the groups of respondents by psychological characteristics of conflict behavior by the K-Middle method. As a result, three types of couples are identified: destructive, which are characterized by high levels of aggression, anxiety and depressive manifestations; adaptive, highly resiluted, emotional intelligence and constructive strategies for overcoming conflicts; and latent-conflict, which reveal an intermediate profile with increased anxiety and a tendency to psychosomatic reactions. On the basis of the results, a training program of psycho-corrective orientation was developed, focused on mobilizing internal resources, reducing the level of stress and forming structural models of interaction in marriage pairs for each cluster group.
