Abstract

The manual presents types of educational practical work aimed at ensuring the expected results of students' cognitive activity. The proposed tasks ensure the implementation of a competency-based approach in modern secondary basic geographical education. Thanks to practical work, students have the opportunity to actively explore and creatively comprehend the processes, patterns and phenomena occurring in the environment and the world economy through practical and independent work. All practical work is compiled in accordance with the model curriculum "Geography. Grades 6-9" (authored by S.P. Zapototsky and others) and the curriculum for grades 7-9 (D.V. Poltavchenko, V.S. Yatsenko, O.V. Chasnikova).
