Abstract

The article presents an information-analytical review of the conceptual and bibliographic representation of educational change within the framework of the research project «Educational Libraries in Scientific and Information Support of Educational Change in Crisis Conditions». The interdisciplinary nature of the problem is substantiated, as it emerges at the intersection of pedagogy, sociology, and change management theory. The analysis of scholarly works demonstrates that educational change is interpreted as a multidimensional and dynamic process encompassing historical, theoretical-methodological, and applied aspects of educational reform in both national and international contexts. The article substantiates the thesis that educational libraries function not only as information intermediaries but also as active agents in the production, analytical processing, and retransmission of knowledge, providing information and bibliographic support for educational change. t has been established that Ukrainian scientific discourse is dominated by scientific research devoted to the history and modern transformations of educational systems, while foreign approaches emphasize the conceptualization of changes, in particular «images of change», as well as their personal (personified) dimension and management mechanisms. Particular attention is paid to clarifying the concept of «educational change» and identifying trends in the development of teacher education under conditions of continuous and discrete transformations and crises. It is shown that the bibliographic representation of educational change performs not only an informational but also an analytical function, contributing to the systematization of scholarly knowledge and the formation of a holistic understanding of educational reform processes.
