Abstract
The article substantiates a model for developing the environmental competence of future nurses in vocational colleges, consisting of the following blocks: conceptual and methodological (goals, objectives, methodological approaches), content and technological (pedagogical conditions, principles, pedagogical technologies, criteria for the environmental competence of future nurses, content of training), evaluative and resultative (stages, forms of organization of educational activities, teaching methods, components and levels of environmental competence of future nurses, expected results). The proposed construct is multidisciplinary and variable in its essence, the degree of correspondence of the model to reality was correlated with the research objective and defined as its structural-functional type, based on direct links between the components of a specific system aimed at forming environmental competence and providing a scientific justification for a set of stages of its development. It has been proven that ensuring the effectiveness of the formation of the studied competence of future nurses is based on adherence to the identified and theoretically substantiated stages of the educational process organization, provides the formation of an environmental professional orientation in students. It is assumed that achieving a positive result in the formation of the above-mentioned personality trait depends on ensuring the identified and substantiated pedagogical conditions for the formation of the environmental competence of future nurses in vocational colleges, which forms the basis of the developed methodology for the formation of this competence, aimed at identifying the motivational-value, cognitive-informational and activity-reflective components of the phenomenon under study in the process of performing various types of classroom and independent work by students using traditional and innovative (interactive, digital, project-based learning) pedagogical technologies and tools for their implementation.
